Located in the surrounding hills of
Oslo, the hotel allows fabulous views over the city centre and the
Oslo Fjord. You may even catch a glimpse of Elks at sundown, or if
you prefer, the attractions of the capital city are just a stone's
throw away.
Parts of the hotel date back to 1894
and the "National romantics" period. A rich cultural inheritance is
blended with all the "mod con" facilities of a first class hotel. As
well as gourmet restaurants, meeting and function rooms, the hotel
also boasts a "Multi-purpose" hall measuring 1000Msq. Today we are
one of Norway’s largest conference hotels.
All rooms have Digital-TV/Internet,
minibar and hairdryer. Most rooms have their own safe, otherwise a
private safe is available at the
reception. Room rates include a large Norwegian breakfast buffet ,
service and taxes.
The
hotel offers Non-Smoking rooms as well as two rooms equipped for the
disabled. Wireless Internet is also available.
Holmenkollen Park Hotel has four
restaurants which serve both lunch buffets and "a la Carte" dinners
with possibilities to cater for special requirements.
"De Fem Stuer" International kitchen with a Norwegian touch. Fresh
seasonal ingredients prepared by professional chefs. The ambiance
created by paintings of Gerhard Munthe as well as the elegant menu
and stunning views of the capital, guarantee a fine experience for
all your senses.
"Galleriet" Our largest restaurant with
a capacity for up to 190 guests. Ideal for larger groups seeking
excellent food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Breakfast
buffet is also served here.
"Bokcafeen" A small and intimate
restaurant with 40 seats. Here we serve sandwiches and drinks from
11:00am to 11:00pm, and a simple a la carte menu from 4:00 pm from
Monday to Saturday.
"Baren/Peisestuen"
Another one of the hotel`s popular meeting places with a roaring
fire as its centerpiece. During the day mainly used as a break out
area for conference delegates. In the evening it offers the finest
views of the sunset and the Oslo skyline under a clear night sky.
All conference rooms are well equipped,
with a capacity ranging from 2 to 500 people. We offer more than 30
function rooms, all perfect for constructive, creative and above all
comfortable meetings, symposiums or training sessions.
