A
five-star castle hotel, restaurant and conference centre, situated
in the magnificent Zuid Kennemerland National Park, close to Haarlem
and Amsterdam, Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate makes an indelible
impression on many a visitor.
Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate has
75 deluxe hotel rooms.Some of these rooms are located in the country
house, some in the new hotel wing. The country house offers
accommodation in 31 rooms, furnished in classical English style.
These include 8 Standard Rooms, 9 Superior Rooms, 8 Deluxe Rooms, 4
Junior Suites en 2 Suites. The new hotel wing has 44 Executive Rooms
furnished in modern, Ralph Lauren-style. All rooms boast a spacious
bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. A limited number of
rooms have both a bathtub and a shower. Other facilities include a
desk, TV and radio, telephone, minibar, safe, modem connection,
coffee and tea-making facilities, hairdryer and trouser press.
We
regret that, due to the historical character of the estate, pets are
not allowed.
Duin & Kruidberg also offers a unique
opportunity to organise a stylish lunch, high tea or dinner for
groups of up to 150 persons, including accommodation in one of the
deluxe hotel rooms. The ground floor of the country estate boasts
four period rooms. Each of these rooms has a characteristic,
individual ambiance.
The conference centre at Duin &
Kruidberg Country Estate has five modern rooms and four break-out
rooms. The Amsterdam Room & Chicago Lounge, with a maximum capacity
of 250 guests, can be divided as these have flexible walls. The
London, Paris and Zurich Rooms can be combined to one room with a
maximum capacity of 180 persons. The break-out rooms, called Hong
Kong, Singapore, Budapest and Sao Paolo, each accommodate 10 people
for meetings.
A
la carte restaurant ‘De Vrienden van Jacob’ offers seating for 40
guests. The restaurant is located in the former ‘summer’ living room
and sun lounge of the Cremer family’s country house. The restaurant
derives its unusual name from the original resident of the house,
Jacob Theodoor Cremer. He had the country estate built in order to
be able to entertain relatives, friends and business contacts in
style. A large terrace, adjoining the sun lounge, affords lovely
views of the pond and the symmetrically designed, English-style
gardens.
Our Executive chef Alain Alders
prepares typically French/ Mediterranean and seasonal dishes for
you. Our Maître d’hôtel-Sommelier Ronald Opten will, of course, be
happy to assist you with your wine selection. His extensive
winelists have been honored by Winespectator with a Best of Award of
Excellence 2007 for having one of the most outstanding restaurant
winelists in the world.
Duin & Kruidberg Country Estate has
its own gym for a perfect work-out for our sporty guests. The gym is
freely accessible to our hotel guests. Please note that there is no
supervision.
Our Finnish sauna is located next to
the gym. It is a great place to unwind after a day filled with
meetings. Our hotel guests also have free access to the sauna.
