Los Juaninos Hotel is located at the Historical
Downtown in the city of Morelia , heritage of mankind, and it is next to the
magnificent cathedral and is part of the historical common property of this
city, which was built with pink stone.
The Building was secularized in 1857 and it was
in 1886 that engineer Guillermo Woddon de Sorinne adapted the building with a
romanticist style and created the best hotel of that time (Oseguera)
Finally in 1998 the old magnificence of the
building is rescued and resumes its original purpose: to be a hotel, after the
natural deterioration of the years elapsed, the change of use and abandon, and
returns to its magnificent original splendor, as it can be observed with the
eclectic ornamentation (French furniture, art nouveau stained-glass windows).
Every one of the rooms was decorated with
different characteristics. The manorial corridors revived as well as the elegant
stairways that together, transform the hotel, traveling to another age.
The hotel has thirty different rooms. Master
Suite, Junior Suite and Superiors. Some features of the old hotel were retained,
such as the doors and windows, ceilings, arches, bathroom woodwork and even
European style bathtubs. With the striking prospects of the cathedral and
historic downtown cityscape of Morelia afforded by the hotel, these views are
truly a balcony onto history. Each decorated differently so that they offer
distinctive features.
La Azotea Restaurant is a restaurant with
panoramic scenery to historical downtown, at night, with the sumptuous lighting
of the cathedral. Contemporary Mexican cuisine.
