The
hotel de Cortes offers an oasis to relax in the middle of the largest city in
the world. While relaxing in the patio one can hear the birds chirping.
One can, also sample the Mexican contemporary cuisine at our restaurant.
The landscaping is designed to enhance the colonial origins of the building and
to complement the absolute sense of tranquility.
All the rooms face the patio and are designed to
recreate the monastic origings of the building. The modern installations
allow our guests to enjoy the comforts expected from a modern hotel in a
peaceful and romantic environment.
The 28 rooms and suites at the Hotel de Cortes
are divided between its two floors. The ground or lower floor is our
viceroy or executive floor, with 9 single or double rooms and two junior suites
that transport our guests to a luxury convent. It is the ideal location to
ensure a perferct stay in Mexico City. The ample bathrooms of volcanic
rock and limestone are complemented by river-stone showers to offer you a modern
and pleasant experience.
We
also have 17 single or double rooms and 5 suites in our traditional, or upper,
floor. These rooms are just as comfortable and charismatic but with a
simpler decor and the same quality of service that you would expect from a
special hotel.
Our recognized restaurant located in the Patio
offers contemporary Mexican Cuisine prepared by our Chef Denisse Castro.
We offer à la Carte service with seasonal menus to challenge the most demanding
palates.
Our bar, located next to the patio, offers
traditional drinks and cocktails, along with a wine list that represents the
major wine regions of the world.
Next to our bar, we have a meeting room with a
capacity for up to 35 people. This room is available for meetings,
conferences and private dinners.
